We are looking for an accountant with at least 5 years of seniority to perform the listed (but not limited) task:
- Process owner of month-end and year-end closing agenda for CE entities (Austria, CZ).
- Accounts reconciliation across CE entities.
- Prepare and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial data to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance thereof.
- Maintain/improve accounting controls by implementing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures.
- Review payment proposals and request payments.
- Process owner of legal reporting requirements (e.g. Intrastat and other).
- Identify opportunities for governmental subsidies (CAPEX and others) and process related applications.
- Prepare tax returns (VAT/payroll tax) and ensure compliance with payment and reporting requirements.
- Drive statutory financial audits.
- Lead the relationship with tax advisors and related authorities and selected vendors.
- Support budgeting process across the organisation.
- Support operations, HR, legal and other departments when Finance involvement is required.
- Continuously improve efficiency of all accounting processes.
